Audition Information

Candidates may choose between Video Audition or In-Person Audition:

Video Audition

Your audition video should be 15-20 minutes long and include the following:

3-4 barre combinations
1 turns combination in center
3 allegro combinations (petit, medium, and grand)
2-3 pointe combinations for female students

Please email the video link to Program Director Inessa Plekhanova for review at iplekhano@radford.edu by April 12, 2025.

2. In-Person Audition

To schedule your in-person audition and campus visit, email Program Director Inessa Plekhanova at iplekhano@radford.edu You will be auditioned during one of our regular ballet classes.

Important Dates & Fees

Video Audition (15-20 minutes of class work) – Due by April 12, 2025
Registration Form (sent upon acceptance) & $200 non-refundable deposit (applied toward tuition) – Due by April 26, 2025
Full Tuition – Due by May 23, 2025: $1,200 (includes your deposit)
Room & Board (double occupancy, includes meals and activities) – Due by May 23, 2025: $1,400

Cancellation Policy & Enrollment Conditions

The $200 deposit is non-refundable, except in the case that the program is canceled by the administration. We reserve the right to modify the schedule, cancel classes due to low enrollment, or adjust student placement based on their level of preparation.

Housing Options

For students traveling from outside the area, housing is available on Radford University’s beautiful campus, providing a convenient and comfortable stay during the program. Local students are also welcome to stay on campus if they prefer the full immersive experience.

Dress Code and Hair Regulations

To maintain a professional and focused training environment, we ask all students to adhere to the following dress code:

Female students: Hair must be in a neat bun; shorter hair should be secured off the face. Pink ballet tights, pink ballet shoes, and a solid, dark-colored leotard.
Male students: Black tights, dance belt, black ballet shoes, and a form-fitting white or black T-shirt (without design). White crew socks recommended if wearing white ballet shoes.
